Paresh Maity – Recycle of Life Supported by Art Alive Gallery
Supported by Art Alive Gallery
Paresh Maity’s installation juxtaposes charred wood and recycled metal pipes to bring natural decay and environmental degradation in conversation with renewal and human invention. His work draws from his childhood memories of observing small-town street hawkers in India who barter metal for a living. Inspired by similar stories of renewal, Recycle of Life indicates a new ecosystem that is based on harmony and peaceful coexistence, where the act of recycling becomes a metaphor for the cycle of life.
