ACADÉMIE DES BEAUX-ARTS X CITÉ INTERNATIONALE DES ARTS | Residencies for Artists, Architects & Choreographers | Call for Applications

Deadline: 02/04/2026

Académie Des Beaux-Arts X Cité Internationale Des Arts have strengthened their historic partnership and developed programs dedicated to welcoming and providing professional support to visual artists, choreographers and architects in residence since 2022.

For the Academy of Fine Arts, these three programs are part of the overall project to host artists and researchers in residence, which takes place on several sites that it owns (Villa Dufraine in Chars, Villa Marmottan in Boulogne-Billancourt, Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat) or in the institutions with which it is partnered (Villa Medici, Casa de Velázquez, Château de Lourmarin, etc.).

For the Cité internationale des arts, they promote mobility and encounters between artists from the international scene. They are part of the institution’s approach of developing partnerships to provide financial and professional support to visiting artists and researchers, while also building dedicated support and opening up to the French artistic context and network.
