About the Gallery:

Founded in 2025 by Sania G. Vohra, Antarang is a vibrant space dedicated to showcasing modern and contemporary South Asian art. Inspired by the Sanskrit word for inner, Antarang is more than a conventional art gallery – it becomes a conduit through which one’s inner self finds expression through the medium of art and opens avenues for reflection, dialogue and engagement. Beyond its exhibition schedule, the focus is on a diverse programme of artist talks, demonstrations, workshops, and art appreciation sessions to foster community engagement through an interactive experience.

Antarang is seeking a highly skilled Gallery Manager to help us run a dynamic, community-driven art space. They’re looking for someone who’s passionate about the arts, highly organized, and great with people.

Position: Gallery Manager

Location: The Camellias, DLF Golf Links, Golf Course Road, Sector 42, Gurugram 122009, Haryana.

Key responsibilities:

– Manage daily gallery operations & exhibitions

– Visitor engagement and client interaction

– Coordinate with artists, curators, collectors & vendors

– Oversee install & events

– Handle inventory, sales records & admin tasks

– Financial oversight

– Research relevant aspects including artists, auction performances, industry practices etc.

– Community engagement & outreach programs

– Social media management & website maintenance

Qualifications & Skills:

– Degree in Fine Art/Art History/Cultural Management (preferred)

– 3-5 years’ experience in galleries/museums/arts institutions

– Strong organizational & multitasking skills

– Excellent communication & people skills

– Comfortable with MS Office/Google Suite (design tools and CRM software a plus!)

– Excellent sales and negotiation skills

– Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, including social media, content creation, and online advertising

– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed

marketing decisions
