The Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts awards up to 78 juried residencies each year to composers, writers, visual artists, and interdisciplinary artists from across the United States and around the world. Self-directed residencies range from two to eight weeks, with each resident receiving accommodation, a private studio, and a weekly food stipend of USD 175. Applications are now open for 2027 Session 1, taking place from 4 January to 25 June 2027. Applications for Session 2 will open in November 2026.
