Muziris Contemporary is seeking a full-time Gallery Associate to join its Mumbai gallery with immediate effect. This is a fast-paced, high-learning role suited to candidates curious about the art world, comfortable with responsibility, and interested in communications, operations, and creative content.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in day-to-day running of the gallery
• Support inventory management, operations, and administration
• Assist founder with sales and client communication
• Social media communication and visual storytelling (documentation, reels, posts)
• Conduct artist and exhibition-related research
• Editorial writing
• Support exhibition installations, events, and openings
• Represent the gallery and engage with visitors
• Coordinate with artists, collectors, and stakeholders
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Canva is a plus

Eligibility:
• Minimum 1 year prior work experience (excluding internships/volunteering)
• Proactive, diligent, and able to work independently
• Must be based in Mumbai and able to work from Colaba
• Prior experience in arts/gallery management or knowledge of the Indian art ecosystem is preferred but not essential
